Born and raised in Rhode Island, Hailey grew up walking the line between poor and lower middle class. Without money for college or the grades for a scholarship, she joined the Army during the "be all you can be" but also "don't ask, don't tell" era. She spent eight years as a Military Police Officer. During her service, she was deployed to Iraq in 2009, where she lost her best friend in a firefight.
After completing her military service, she returned home and used her GI Bill to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice from Rhode Island College. She still regrets not studying the arts. Upon graduating, she moved to the city and applied to be a cop in Easthaven, Massachusetts. Fresh out of the Massachusetts Police Academy, the rookie is ready to hit the streets of Easthaven. Her military background has taught her to stay calm and composed under pressure, making her a reliable and steady presence on the force.
