Priya was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the youngest of three to a pair of doctors. They were loving, if distant, parents, and the siblings were often left to their own devices beyond the necessities. Although Priya was completely healthy otherwise, she was born with severe hearing issues, meaning she would need to use hearing aids for the rest of her life.
Regardless, she grew up a fairly happy kid. She relied heavily on hearing aids at first but quickly learned sign language and began to rely primarily on that. She was very young when she came into her powers as a half-blooded child.
Unbeknownst to her or her family, several generations back, an ancestor on her father's side had been a member of the Disciples of Vasuki. As he rose in the ranks, he was gifted with a scroll of the dragon, allowing him to become 'blessed' by the goddess Lakshmi, consort of Vishnu and one of the Tridevi. He was a powerful magician, and this pact and its consequences echoed through the generations.
Although she made no pact herself, the magic eventually manifested in Priya. With the power of Lakshmi and her association with the Maya, Priya developed the ability to step into dreams and shape them. She spent much time in these ethereal spaces, often with her siblings, and sometimes with other daring people.
She wasn’t popular in school but neither was she shunned. This became especially true when she fell in with friends who discovered her dream-shaping ability. Many afternoons were wiled away in the fantastic worlds they were able to create in their own heads. Unfortunately, in her senior year, this ended in tragedy and she still carries the guilt with her.
After graduation, Priya left Baltimore and the memories. She moved to Easthaven and went to school for botany, fostering her lifelong love for plant life. While interning at the local botanical garden, she attended classes and made new friends. They seemed nice enough, letting her tag along, although they liked to whisper in low tones so she couldn't hear them. Which was fine, people did that more often than not. Then, one day there was a party, it was somewhere on the edge of the city, and then... Well...
The next afternoon, Priya woke up in her apartment and all her furniture was missing. All her things were missing. It was even dusty. She didn't care. A storm was gathering, open windows letting in the damp summer air. She admired it until it covered the sky. Then, she slept, and when she woke, the trees were aflame with fall colors. When she slept and woke again, winter had snapped in, cruel and lonely, and still, the apartment was empty. There were things that niggled at her, but the details faded with each passing day. With each passing hour.
Priya was certain she was in a dream when spring came. Any day now, she would wake and it would be the night after the party. Any day now.
Then some people moved into the emptiness of her apartment and the world shifted into such focus, such detail, that she wasn't confident her situation was her own invention anymore. Now she needs to find out what's going on.

When Priya manifests, she is accompanied by the scent of garden soil and rain. Touching her feels like touching cold smoke, and when she manages to balance her thoughts and believe in what she can do, she can solidify and interact with the living world. Otherwise, she can push through most solid objects with effort, so long as salt isn't involved.Dreams
Priya is able to take the fabric of an existing dream and reform it to her will. It is limited by her imagination, constructed from things she has seen or read about. She cannot create things she has not seen. She is able to use dreams to travel. It is relative to distances in the real world, so there must be dreams between the two points she wants to travel. Within these dreams, she travels between doorways, or other entry and exit portals, and does all she can to stay in the background. As a result, she has the ability to clothe and disguise herself according to what the dreamer expects to see. Despite the name, dreams are not harmless to her. Without a body, her entire essence enters a dream and thus any danger that exists within a dream (or nightmare) is a danger to her. Likewise, should a dreamer wake up suddenly or forcibly eject her, she can be shunted to a space in between that is difficult to navigate. Priya is able to assume the form of a mouse, cat, or a fox. In the past, she could not learn new forms yet. Both of the cat and the fox were forced upon her by external magical entities, but now that she knows how to mold herself into these shapes, she can assume them at will. Now, after encountering and studying a real cat, she was able to take on that shape as well and add it to her repertoire.Cantrip

Much like the Huntress, this object is unseen, but felt. It doesn’t exist physically because it’s just a thought. A concept. But it sits weighty in your mind’s pocket. When you pull it out, it is unquestionably there. It can only be spotted from the corner of one’s physical eye, but you can handle it in your mind’s eye. You can even imagine yourself giving it to another, and you will feel it leave you. It is indescribable, and yet gives the impression of a dream catcher on a lunar hoop, with a glimmering net like spider’s silk dusted with dew.
Those who prowl the landscapes of the mind know not to tread lightly around those who possess a Dream Catcher. It provides Assistance against mind-affecting magic, lowering the threshold by one. It does not need to be activated, but with the Huntress gone, it will lose efficacy after three resistance rolls.
Afterwards, it goes inert, but it will remain in your mind, or wherever you imagined storing it. If used in a ritual, it provides either the Dream or Nightmare keyword, but not both. It can be enchanted.
