About Me Salut! I'm Indy, currently a teacher in psychology, art, and English. I enjoy TTRPGs, gaming, avidly read comics and graphic novels, and have a passion for history.
In terms of roleplay, I enjoy writing characters who are dealing with a change and conflict, in living, in life, or in powers. Exploring their reactions to new situations and different conflicts feel incredibly rewarding, along with seeing how they develop different relationships with the characters around them.
Things I don't enjoy all that much are contrived set-ups and cold-open meet-and-greets. I don't dislike them enough to turn them down if they're the only option, but I find the result can quite easily be disappointing for both parties. There needs to be some underlying goal or connection, either for the characters or the players, to push a conversation into something more than just exchanging names. In that same vein, I'm happy to play along with someone's plot, so long as the journey is truly collaborative. Similarly, I tremendously appreciate players communicating their wants and needs, so we can really see what can work for us if 'seeing where it goes' isn't an option.
At base, I'm happy to do any kind of plot, from the light-hearted, romantic, or dark and risque, if the characters have the chemistry to make it work!
Mature Content & Comfort Levels No issue with violence, blood, or gore, so long as it's handled realistically. I'm happy to play romantic scenes or the flirty lead up to a fade to black for sexual scenes. I'm otherwise not all that interested in a full nsfw scene with people I'm unfamiliar with.
