On the forum, players can archive and discontinue their own threads at their leisure. Below in an explanation on how to do just that.

How to Archive Threads

Scroll to the bottom of the relevant thread's page. You will see a drop down menu titled Moderation Options, such as in the image to the right. It will already display the option to Archive. If that is what you want to do, you can go ahead and click GO. This will move the thread to the forum archive. It will also grey out the thread in the threadlogs of everyone who has posted in the thread.

If the thread has gone inactive or for any other reason a player wishes to Discontinue a thread, this menu is also where they can accomplish it. Click the down-arrow and it will reveal more options in the drop down menu, as seen in the picture to the right. Selecting Discontinue Thread will send the thread to the Discontinued Archive, and the thread will disappear from the threadlogs of everyone who has posted in the thread.

How to Unarchive Threads

Sometimes, you're too quick on the trigger or you realise you wanted to get a final edit in. If you want to continue posting in a thread you archived too early, contact staff in the Discord server's #mod-request channel to get it moved back to the relevant forum and remember to include a link. If you simply wish to edit a thread, you can temporarily unarchive it by using the same Moderation Options menu at the bottom of the thread's page (while it is in the Archives). Clicking Re-archive will close the thread again.

How to get Discontinued Threads Out

Currently there is no automated way to do this. If you wish to continue a previously discontinued thread, you will have to contact staff in #mod-request.
