Some of it was genuinely old, noble metals and edging into being genuine antiques. Other pieces were modern, sturdier metal plated with a noble metal for appearances, keeping the price more reasonable. It wasn't about cost, after all, but about the enchantment and how well the material took to it.
His mouth curled into an amused smile as she aborted her move to touch, looking up at her as she seemed to realise she had something of herself she'd prefer.
