Paul might seem completely average on the surface, but the truth couldn't be further from that. Behind the nervous grin and wisecracking personality, this New York City guy has got a pretty crazy secret. He's the son of a Ramidreju, a weaselly creature with a snake-like body, two tusks and a boar snout.
While he's been aware of his odd family secret since he was a teen, he'll doubtfully ever be wholly used to it. One might say he's embarrassed as all get out but coping the best that he can. It's not all bad to be a half-blood when it comes with perks like accelerated healing and the ability to catch a short glimpse of the near future.
Still, having a few valuable hairs on his head does paint a sizeable target on his back. Doubly so with his tendency to swipe shiny objects from others when the magic mustelid blood boils in his body. Paul's laying low and working a dead-end job because of these unfortunate effects, but trouble still tends to find its way into his life whether he's inviting it or not.
Friendly with a funny streak, Paul shouldn't have too much trouble finding new pals. Nice, laid-back people with a good sense of humor tend to get along with him best. A little patience goes a long way too, as he can be a total nervous wreck at times. The same goes for tolerance, in case he snatches your valuables during a bloodrush. He will give your stuff back once it's over. It's a promise!
Paul's no stranger to being bullied but that doesn't make him like it. Anyone mean-spirited, violent and rude will get under his skin pretty fast. Yanking some healing hairs off his head without permission won't go over well with him either. The chances of him pissing somebody else off is also considerable due to his occasional episodes of having sticky fingers.
As sweet and charming as he can be, Paul can be hard to stick to as a boyfriend. He's failed his girlfriends before and could definitely do it again, even if it's not his intention. If you're willing to look past high-strung behavior and your jewelry ending up in his pockets at times, a relationship with him might just work out. Just make sure you're willing to sit through full baseball games with him. And don't own a cat!
