Shifting her legs to sit on her knees as Cam crossed the space between them, she brought their eyes more or less level as he knelt. This moment had shades of awkwardness in that she wasn't more than twenty and was only just getting to know Cam, but sometimes you couldn't control what you uncovered in the course of conversation.
