Welcome to Easthaven
The old city of Easthaven has butted up against the Atlantic since the establishment of colonies in New England. With this comes a long and storied history of vibrant trade, industry, and dark tales. The Old World's ancient fears and folktales are real among the cobbled streets of a city straddling the Old World and the New.
Three On A Match is a modern fantasy and supernatural RPG set in the fictional city of Easthaven, MA. We draw inspiration from works such as Call of Cthulhu, the Dresden Files, Hellboy, gothic horror, folklore, and mythology as we explore the life and times of supernatural creatures, spooky spectres, and witchy humans.
Extensive knowledge of our inspirations and urban fantasy is not necessary for this site, nor is a deep investment in site-wide plots or events. It is perfectly fine to simply play slice-of-life plots and our events cover a range of genres and genres catering to a variety of roleplaying styles and interests.
Getting Started
It is recommended that you join us in the Discord. There, we offer more real-time updates, spaces to discuss and plot, as well as social spaces. Any discussions around Events or changes also happen in the Discord server.
- Please register an OOC account first, using your chosen handle.
- Then, register your IC account, using a "firstname surname" or "surname firstname" format, if culturally appropriate.
- Single names are acceptable for entities such as spirits, who may have forgotten their previous lives.
- As you create your IC account, link it to your OOC master account through the Account Switcher in the User CP.
- Finish your character application in the User CP Profile for the IC account.
- Use the Creation Guide, it will help you figure out what you need!
- When you are finished with your profile, go to the Character Review Form on the forum.
