Undying Path Keywords

Undying have limited access to the Magic Keywords, only able to choose from the Empyrean and Chthonic portfolios. The rest of their keywords are their Path Keywords, listed below.

Keyword Notes[edit]

Lesser Shapeshifting
You are able to transform into a small to medium-size animal. You are the average size of that animal and although you may retain some innate magical abilities, you are otherwise unremarkable. Unlike the shifters, who are given the complete package of instinct when it comes to assuming their other forms, you must manually learn how to function in whatever form you assume.
Moonlight Healing
While standing under moonlight, an Undying can draw on its energy to rapidly heal. It is personal only. On using Healing magic for Luck: On a Complete Success, the Undying restores +1 Luck to themselves. On an Extraordinary Success, the Undying restores +2 Luck to themselves. A Undying cannot restore Luck above the maximum with this ability.
Daywalker
You are able to withstand long periods under the sun. For the Undying, your strength is human-level (Strike reduced to 4d6), and at the end of the day, you always need to ground yourself to refresh your magic, but so long as you're conscious, the sunlight will not destroy you. An Undying with Daywalker can roll a contested roll against the effect of True Sunlight.
Hypnosis
While maintaining eye contact, a character with this keyword may give a command or a suggestion to another. After breaking eye contact, based upon the wording, the subject has the opportunity to do a contested roll. If they fail, they will be compelled to carry out the order while seeing nothing wrong with it. Hypnosis suggestions can be done 3 times per thread with no repercussions.
